This is me
This is my blog. Welcome.
Mostly, I’ll post photos, links, and embed some videos. Periodically, I’ll put on my old op-ed hat I periodically sported at The University News and share some views about life, economics, and politics. I love economics, data, numbers and bad analogies.
I live in Alexandria and am originally from Shaker Heights, Ohio. Later, I lived in Saint Louis, Missouri for college. I am a former economic policy staffer who worked for two members of Congress — one in the Senate and one in the House. My views posted on the blog are my own and don’t represent those of employers past, present, or future.
My interests are golf, softball, football, baseball, photography, economics, and politics. As for pro sports, I’m a rabid Cleveland & Ohio State sports fan, particularly the Browns (it’s futile, I know), but also cheer for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Washington Redskins. For college, my alma mater Saint Louis University (SLU) Billikens is definitely tops, but I’ve been known to cheer for Mizzou when they play anyone but the Billikens or Ohio State.
